WE had a vision over 9 years ago to open a space for musicians to share and collaborate

My friends and I were almost evicted from our apartment in 2008 due to noise complaints. Soon after we realized that we needed a space where artists from all backgrounds could share and explore their talents and gifts. We opened our new studio in Blacksburg, Virginia to artists in our community. We called our Project Vinyl House.

Today there are countless artists and musicians looking for representation. We need special places to express ourselves and receive support from the community. The vision of Vinyl House took form as a collective and before long we were jamming, recording our sessions and giving them back to the artists free of charge. To enhance our sessions we supplied all the equipment necessary and had fun with our experimentation.

Nurturing creativity in a welcoming space we captured unique compositions allowing us to create with musicians from all styles and skill levels.

I studied at Virginia tech from 2005 to 2009 in the Civil and Environmental Engineering departments. I went back to school after creating Vinyl House to study Audio Engineering in North Carolina. I have held slots at 90.0 FM WUVT and 103.1FM WUAG as a community deejay and have been active in the music and art scenes everywhere.

Operating out of Virginia, North Carolina, D.C., Colorado & Australia. We hope to expand our umbrella operation to many other hubs of creativity. Our friends are spread across the globe- Lets Connect them! Utilizing technologies we will share your recordings with your permission, travel with your tapes, Cd’s & Vinyl to spread the good vibrations!

To share and discover OUR talents 9 years later we are looking to take the vision of Vinyl House to the next level. Serving as a mobile recording platform built to Share our collective work, we desire to capture your creativity and spread love. Our goal is to raise the funds necessary to establish our mobile studio to reach people where they are. Whether we record in nature, your home studio, or park our mobile platform in the community.

we hope to explore, share and co-create with as many artists as possible, especially those in need.

Part of our campaign is to help with Mental Health awareness and Homeless outreach. Many of us are misunderstood and we aim to donate many of our recordings as offerings to the community while healing along our paths. Whether you are a solo musician looking to collaborate or a full band wanting to record an album we will open doors to musical exploration & capture your sound. This vision will take your help!

Kickstarter campaign 2020.

Any tools, equipment, or resources to make this Vision happen are welcomed! We will also be working with the Denver Tool Library and Santa Fe Art District

From the construction side of things we will take a different approach and are drawing up a completely unique design from sustainable plans complete with solar panels, water catchments, upcycled materials and energy conservation practices.

We are establishing an open online platform to enhance artist exposure and collaborate with artists from all backgrounds, associations, and walks of life. If you are stuck around neighbors that can’t stand the sound of your practice or you simply don’t have the money to invest in studio time we can help! There is nothing worse than having your creativity stifled and we know that feeling.

As a sustainable operation the Vinyl house will travel to meet you as we receive invitations.

One principal we stand by is to support other people with their Dreams and Visions!

Please consider networking with us so that we can share your music and help support other projects along the way!
